Short Film Competition

Are you a budding film maker? Enter our Short Film Competition by sending an original film that is only 150 seconds long.
Cambridge 150th Anniversary Competition, film entries

The theme is ‘A Day in the life of our School’, and it can be about your favourite part of the school day; a special event that your school is involved in; maybe a concert; a lesson with a popular teacher - let your imagination take over, and find out how much action you can cram into just 150 seconds!

You don’t need special equipment - judges are looking for a film that captures the essence of a school, rather than judging it on its technical merits.

The 150-second long film can be drama, documentary, animation, and can be shot on super-8, webcam, video, dvd or even a mobile phone!

The film can be sent to CIE on CD, or uploaded online to a site likeYouTube

Don’t forget to fill in the entry form to accompany your short film and if sending a copy on CD, don’t forget to put your name on your film - otherwise we won’t know who has entered it!
