How do I enter for an examination?
You cannot register direct with CIE for examinations. Your centre will enter you for all the relevant examinations. Please talk to your teacher or the examination officer for further information.
How can I make an amendment to my entry details?
Please contact the Examination Officer at your centre as CIE cannot make amendments received direct from candidates.
Where can I find out the dates and times of my examinations?
Please contact your Examinations Officer for details.
Where can I find copies of past examination papers?
There are copies of past examination papers available for you to download on this website. You can also order copies of past papers (mainly available on CD-Rom) from our Publications Department. Details of how to do this can be found on the CIE website.
How will I get my examination results?
Your results will be sent to your centre, please speak to your teacher or the examination officer for further details. Results are not published on the website.
Can I arrange for my results to be sent direct to a University/third party?
CIE can arrange to send a certifying statement of your results either direct to you or to any public institution. These statements will be accepted by Universities and other institutions as proof of your examination results. You will need to complete an application form which can be found on our website.
Does CIE provide percentage marks?
Our grades are given in Alpha grades only and percentage marks are not provided.
